• porting of the code – end July 11
• scaling studies – end Sept 11
• scaling bottleneck analysis – end Dec 11
• tuning – end March 12
• report – end May 12.

Description :

• Done scaling studies of high resolution EC-EARTH on a local cluster
• Looking into different profiling / performance analysis tools for scaling bottleneck analysis.
• Will see impacts of different MPIs, compilers, optimization flags.
• Some tuning is done, waiting for access to Curie
• Porting on Curie
• Scaling test and tuning on Curie
