another simpleton question and to start putting messages out to the community rather than giving the individual developers a hard time :)

If the QCWrapper performs the L2 checks OK then does that mean the L1/L0 checks are essentially completed given that we have used the CMOR interface to generate the CMIP5 data? Or does check_CMOR_compliant.py have to be run on each file for this too? I have no experience using check_CMOR_compliant.py but assume that it is still maintained.
